Before asking questions on OPEN DIVISION tricks:
- Any trick that doesn't specify a flip in or earth turn in can be done with your preference, (so you can earth turn in from a bird if it's more comfortable than just dropping in)
-Remember there will be a video released to demonstrate each trick
-If a trick doesn't specify you can do it inward, then you have to do it regular, NOT inward
-There's no whirlwind or dub whirlwind tricks because it's played out, yo.
-The further you advance in Open, the harder the tricks will get, and earlier tricks will start to be removed at random
-There are FIVE surprise tricks that are unlisted. Each of the judges helped picked one trick of their own style to throw into the bunch, these are the most diverse and arguably some of the hardest tricks we came up with. These tricks will only get pulled late in the competition for the last several competitors, they won't be demonstrated in the video either, so if you know DKT's style, it will probably help wink emoticon
PRIZES:
We have a plethora of prizes coming in from our many, many sponsors. Some of them won't arrive until the day before the tournament so we won't have them sorted until the 21st. Stay tuned for further updates. I can assure you there will be no shortage of kendamas, t-shirts, hats, stickers, and more!
