I finally busted out all the plants that have been sitting on my back porch. Some are from friends and family and many I have scavenged. There are plants from Red Rock in Colorado, the Vietnamese jewelry store next to my favorite restaurant (the guy didn't speak any English but didn't seem to mind when I explained I was going to take a clipping of his plant), jade plants from Hollywood Bowl area in LA, some other succulents from Moss Landing, California (they said I could take them after Fin and I finished our seal watching adventure). There are also some that may have accidentally made it into my pocket from random botanical gardens. I have propagated and separated them to share with you. Most of the new potted plants in the gallery also have crystals with them. I love plants. I hope you give them a try. Put them by your sink, in a favorite window, or on your porch now that it is warm. Most only need water once or twice a week. You just can't completely forget about them but most of these are very forgiving. When they have babies, which they will, share them! Plants are generational. They can be passed down just like pieces of furniture. You can say to your great grandchildren, "you know that store in Wyandotte we take you to, well when I was your age, my mom bought me a plant from there and this is it! Now you can have it." Bruce and I will be celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and I have plants that are older than our relationship. Think about trees?! Wow! I didn't think I would start going down such a plant rabbit hole. In all seriousness I have been avoiding this blog. The last post was JANUARY!
We (as in Yvonne) have been doing monthly calendars with daily sales. These are meant to be fun and are only valid on the day of. If you can't make it in we apologize but those are the rules for the game.
Games aren't fun if they don't have rules! There is a different sale almost daily so plenty of opportunities.
Lots more crystals making their way daily.
Come and see us!
Have a great day and much love,
